Vote on Drilling in State Parks in the Ohio

Pack the room 210 from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. Ohio House Chamber, Ohio Statehouse, 1 Capitol Square, Columbus.  The Ohio House Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee will recommend Substitute House Bill 133, the Drilling in State Parks bill, to the Ohio House of Representatives for a full House vote.  This bill will open state parks and nature preserves to oil drilling and horizontal hydraulic fracturing (“FRACKING”). Legislative champions in the House have asked that leaders pack the House gallery, and outside the chamber, to witness the vote.
