My brother was there in the 80s; he passes away a few years ago, of a rare paranasal cancer and inoperable brain tumor both of which disfigured him terribly. He suffered so much. Finally the Marine Corps has come clean about the toxic well water and is saying they will take care of the health needs of sick soldiers. This contamination apparently goes back to the mid 1950s. Why wasn't the well water regularly tested? All the military bases need vigilant water testing, due to the nature of the military's missions. You know years ago an intern looked at the distruction from a terrorist act or other problem at our VA Nuke and handed me a map that showed with 5 mph winds from the SW (common) would wipe out most of the east coast cities.
