Gifts of Stock

Do you own stock that you’d like to convert, but don’t want to pay capital gains tax on the appreciation? Giving a gift of stock enables you to help CHEJ while saving cash for other uses and enjoying what may be greater tax savings than those provided by an equivalent gift of cash.

You can transfer stock to CHEJ electronically by providing written instructions to your broker. For instructions on the transmittal of a gift of securities and account routing information, call 703-237-2249 ext. 24.
