Each bee visits about 1,500 hundred flowers per day. They pollinate 80% of the world’s plants, which makes them responsible for about 30% of the food we eat (1). Without bees, we would not have honey, beeswax, oilseeds, or most of the fruits and vegetables we know and love. Local STL Group Gets Politicians to Respond

Towards the end of August, Just Moms STL hosted two candidate forums about the West Lake Landfill with a combined attendance of 120 different community members. Both events invited the candidates from the Democratic and Republican Party in races for Congress, the Senate, Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, and the Missouri Senate and General Assembly. CHEJ’s Green Flag Schools Program for Environmental Leadership

For years, the Center for Health, Environment & Justice has been mentoring a movement, empowering people and preventing harm   to  human health caused by exposure to environmental threats. Included in this work is CHEJ’s Green Flag Schools Program for Environmental Leadership. We hosted a Candidate Forum in St. Louis that empowered constituents and held politicians accountable this election season.
