Welcome to the #MakePollutersPay Week of Action!
This week, join us to spread the word and take action to reinstate the Superfund Polluters Pay Tax. Polluters Pay is ESSENTIAL to holding polluters accountable for their messes! We’ll be posting on social media all week with shareable resources, community stories, and action items to increase awareness and visibility. Some aspects of the tax were included in the bipartisan infrastructure package that was released last week. This legislation excludes corporate income taxes and is far too weak – It won’t fund Superfund. This is not the Polluters Pay Tax we need. We’re coming together to raise awareness about this fight and show our reps in Washington that we need them to pass the FULL Polluters Pay through budget reconciliation!
